♫Private Voice♫

I am trained as a coloratura soprano.  If you don’t know what that means, you should just know that I’ve been trained within an inch of my life.  I know vocal mechanisms; I know how to help you feel them, I know how to transform your voice so that you can use it for whatever purpose you are pursuing. I train for any style (Classical, Jazz, Broadway, Popular, etc.) because my goal is always healthy, strong production in every genre.  I have developed my own method to address all the vocal flaws I've encountered during my career with several approaches and exercises associated with each so that I can deliver real results to correct and strengthen your voice regardless of where you're starting from or what you hope to accomplish. Virtual lessons are available with a small convenience fee.

♫Piano Lessons♫

If you want to learn to play the piano, I can teach you, regardless of age or prior training. Whether you are starting from scratch or looking to grow from another instructor; whether you are interested in page training or looking to understand how to play keyboard without looking at anything at all; ages 7-107. I have developed a method that starts where you start, with your interest, talent, and goals, and systematically adds technique that opens doors for you to perform the way you've been hoping.  My method is customizable to move as fast as you learn, to apply to music you want, and to minimize tedium.Virtual lessons available through online booking with a small convenience fee.

♫Virtual Lessons♫

All lessons are available virtually for a small convenience fee.  While I do encourage in-person lessons as much as possible for a variety of reasons, I also understand that there are factors in life that can make in-person lessons prohibitive.  Young beginner piano students are encouraged to take at least one level of piano lessons prior to attempting virtual lessons so that basic keyboard proficiency can be taught most clearly to set students up for long term success and minimize frustration.  Young or beginner vocal students may start virtual immediately. It will be necessary for you to have access to two mobile devices (phone, tablet, laptop) so that our video call can be handled with one device and any necessary accompaniment can be handled by another. Virtual lessons may also be substituted for regular or make-up lessons in the event that circumstances would otherwise prevent being able to accomplish the lesson.

♫Theory Lessons♫

Because I have a double bachelors in Music Education and Vocal Pedagogy, and because I have been certified in the state of Florida for both Music and Special Education, I am uniquely equipped to offer lessons specifically designated as pure music theory.  Most often these lessons are chosen by students who are homeschooled or those with special needs, students taking an instrument with the desire to better understand music as a whole discipline, or people who just love music but feel no personal talent to learn an instrument.  The content of these lessons can range anywhere from Elementary Orff for small children who are not yet ready to choose an instrument to Jazz or Composition.  I'll take you through a plan that I've designed specific to your needs and interest leveraging my training and experience for your purpose.

Lessons are available in my private studio or online (with a small convenience fee). Given the demand on my available studio time, I do not travel to students’ homes.

Weekly or twice weekly lessons are available in full or half hour slots as studio population allows.  In the event you cannot find a day or time available that is convenient for your schedule, I am happy to add you to my waiting list with your desired day, time, and duration noted so that you can receive a call should your preference become available.

I find that when the lesson rhythm is too spacious, it is difficult for students to make steady progress in any markable way.  A studio that maintains its weekly slots runs efficiently and delivers progress much more effectively.  To that end, I limit my studio to weekly or twice weekly scheduling, as every-other week scheduling creates confusions.
